Poor laser cutting and solutions
In the face of adverse phenomena in laser cutting, we need to adopt a series of scientific and meticulous solutions. Firstly, to address the issue of rough cutting edges, the focusing accuracy of the laser beam can be optimized to ensure uniform energy distribution and reduce scattering. At the same time, the matching between cutting speed and power can be adjusted to make the cutting process smoother.
Secondly, the unevenness of the cross-section is often related to the material properties and the parameter settings of gas assisted cutting. By precisely controlling the type, flow rate, and pressure of the auxiliary gas, combined with the thermal conductivity of the material, the quality of the cross-section can be effectively improved and the phenomenon of slag hanging can be reduced.
Furthermore, an excessively large heat affected zone not only affects cutting accuracy, but may also damage material properties. For this, pulse laser cutting technology can be used to reduce heat input and achieve low-temperature rapid cutting by controlling the frequency, width, and energy of laser pulses, thereby narrowing the heat affected zone. In addition, to address the issue of material deformation, in addition to optimizing cutting process parameters, pre-treatment of the material can also be carried out before cutting, such as preheating, stress release, etc., to enhance the material's resistance to deformation.
